This wine comes from the oldest vines and more qualitative domain. Carignan and Grenache are over 100 years. It is a shale terroir wine rich in aromas and well balanced.
Grenache (70%) / Carignan (10%) / Syrah (10%) / Mourvèdre (10%)
Traditional manual harvest.
Pegging common, traditional vinification, light filtration.
red wine with garnet color, deep and violet reflections.
The nose is aromatic, fruity finish.
The palate is smooth, intense and meaty. blackcurrant notes, kirchée cherry mingle with scents of black pepper, chocolate and undergrowth. The tannins of the Shale Shard wine are elegant and round. The body does not remain less powerful body and ends with a long persistence.
Serve between 16 ° and 18 °
Consume between 2015 and 2020 on meats, grilled red meats, cheeses and be tempted by chocolate desserts!
