AOP Saint-Chinian, AOP Saint-Chinian Rosé in Languedoc - South of France

The creation of Château Belot dates back to the mid-1980s, when Lionel's father, Jacques decided to work at these lost hours a few feet of vines. Faced with the difficulty of being able to find plots planted, this former teacher resolves to decipher the surrounding scrubland and to crush pebbles and pebbles.
Then follows the planting of the traditional AOP Saint-Chinian grape varieties for the production of red and rosé wines: Syrah, Grenache Noir and Mourvèdre.
Today, these plots produce high-quality grapes, predestined for the production of vintages of the estate marked by the imprint of the tenements of the Belot vineyard.
From 1997, Domaine Belot's history took off with the purchase of a winery on the Tendon estate, located in Pierrerue, which borders Saint-Chinian. The estate currently has nearly 35 hectares of vines. Each of the vintages of the estate produced in AOP Saint-Chinian bears the name of a tenement: Le Vignalet, Mouleyres.
Except for the great wine of Château Belot, the Best Of Belot wine, or "BOB", Virtuose wine of the Saint-Chinian appellation, mostly blended with Syrah and complemented by Grenache Noir.
